TOTALLY UTTERLY Overdue Raya Story...

Short and simple raya story....last year Raya double joy sebab unexpected Raya bertiga...beli baju pun jubah ala2 utk perut kembung ku ini...maka2 time Raya dah kempis...
This year Raya excited jugak sebab we are planning to have baju sedondon...konon...initially we planned to have PURPLE as our theme this year..sebab i bought Khaleesya's Clarks Shoes kaler purple..(Thanks to Raja Teena sebab heret all the geng beratur panjang during Clarks Warehouse Sale, memang dasar mak buyung rebel cut queue..and me purak2 pregnent kan..alih2 peknen betul2).

So since hubby's staff ada jual kain beli la...kebetulan kaler purple bunga2 and cukup kalau nak buat baju kurung for Khaleesya. So bila dah last minit ni mana ada tailor nak buat, sib baik my old tailor yg stay in Sungai Buloh sanggup buat (walaupun nyonya ni charge RM 78 hengget!!!). Since we know that she's good in tailoring...hantar je la...

Me : nyonya...buat baju kurung pesak gantung ya..skarang saya pregnant buat loose2 sikit
Nyonya : okeyyy..okey...saya tauuuu...

Sebulan lepas tu....tetibe dia bgtau kain tak cukup buat baju khaleesya..WTFFFFF??!! banyak tu kain..camne tak cukup....so masa pick up...

Me : Nyonya apasal tak cukup kain...4 meter buka 60 inch tuuu
Nyonya : tak cukup la...baju mengandung memang kene besar..
Me : (TETIBE RASA NAK NANGESS TGK BAJU, INI BUKAN BAJU KURUNG PESAK GANTUNG...INI BAJU MENGANDUNG!!!!) ermm...ok la nya..ni duit (malas nak cari gaduh sbb tengah pose...)

Masuk keta je....

Me : bbbbbbbbbbb....bongok nye nyonya..org soh buat baju kurung pesak gantung...dia buat baju mengandungggg......dah le besar, bile pakai je kepala i jadik kecikkk...

Sampai umah...terus nangesss....so hubby pujuk takpe la...kite beli je la baju raya ....me..SMILE sumbing je le...dah la kain tu matching dengan bunga kasut khaleesya...so end up tukar kaler hijau sempena baju kurung Khaleesya yang dah sedia ada...

And for the first time dalam hidup bershopping baju raya...30 minit!!! me ajak hubby pergi Jakel Shah Alam...sorry la kalo nak turun Jakel KL time2 nak raya ni kannn...dengan perut mak yg comel ni..oh noo!! journey shah alam je dah 1 hour...masuk Jakel...match kan dengan baju khaleesya...me dapat satu..hubby dapat satu kaler..to the bargain..zappp bayar...so end up this year theme change to Olive Green..penyudahnye tu yg kaler kasut lari tema!!

Khaleesya Turns ONE!!!

Alhamdulillah my lil pea turns 1 year old on 3rd September (which is fall on the 5th of hari raya, so takde la nak buat party apa pun since everyone is away from KL). Insyaallah we'll be having a small makan-makan Birthday Bash cum Raya Open House by end of this month.

Khaleesya 1st birthday, girl in red Zara (her cousin) turns 3 yrs old
Khaleesya : I'm totally CLUELESS!!

She grew up so fast...and getting smarter everyday..physically she might bit slow..meniarap lambat, crawling pun lambat..but orang tua-tua cakap kalau lambat movement mulut cepat...betul la tu..POT PET POT PET just like me even tho dia punya mumbling tah apa-apa kan, alhamdulillah by 11 months she able to follow the AZAN, sometimes its very clear when she say ALLAHUAKHBAR. She started to sing along..i'm so blessed to see her picking up few words/movement each day..and she loves books so much (yes i started to introduce her with books when she is 3 months old)

Maybe its nice to flash back what happen a year ago..2nd September 2010, a week before Hari Raya i had normal ante natal check up at Naluri Medical Centre, 3 weeks before my due date. Well as my gynae Dr Zana informing me of the symptom..i told her that i had it since this morning!!! apa lagi she immediate do VE (Erkkss...)


Dr. Zana :  ermmm...dah open 1.5cm ni
Me : erksss...ye ke...
Hubby : (clueless...diam je)
Dr. Zana : husband...you bring la your wife gi makan (mmg i tak posa pon dah x larat...), bagi dia apa dia nak makan..g jalan-jalan mana ke...kalau contraction kuat terus datang sini..insyaallah kalau tak malam ni esok pagi u bersalin, nanti g buat CTG and see me again before balik..
Hubby : hah????
Me : BIG GRIN
While doing my CTG....hubby tanya
Hubby : apasal cepat sgt
Me : ntah..dia nak raya kot
Hubby : i terkejut ni...i ingat 1.5cm tu mcm leh tunggu lagi 3 minggu baru bukak 10 cm...
Me: senyum je dengar stetmen hubby (dalam hati...tu la org soh baca buku takmo!!)

balik rumah..hajat nak ajak hubby g IKEA lagi okeh...tapi pasal bulan puasa tau la how traffic in KL during the evening...dia takut if my contraction makin kuat pastu tak sempat nak g Naluri..penyudahnye ke JUSCO Alpha Angle je laaaa....well by 10 pm my contraction 5 mins interval..take warm shower and pick up hospital bag..check in!! Whole night in observation room..sambil2 wat lawak bodo dgn nurse (ala2 makcik gak la...baik gile)

Nurse :ok ke? nak pain killer..?
Me : tak pa kak..tahan lagi..sakit kuat pun 5 minit skali je..(sengih sumbing)
Nurse : banyak la ko....contraction ko selang seminit ni!! kuat lak tu.. tahan tul ko ni eh..
Me : insyaallah saya leh tahan lagi..bila lagi nak rasa sakit bersalin kak..
Nurse : ko niii....
By 2 am, contraction getting intense..
Me : kak..agak2 kol baper eh saya nak bersalin ni
Nurse : jap akak check, eh baru 4cm ni...maybe esok pagi pas subuh atau 9 pagi camtu
Me : (alamak nyesal tanya, kene VE lagi...uikkssss) ermm...sakit la kak..saya nak pain killer..nak tido la..takut nanti esok pagi saya xde energy nak push

5 mins after the pain killer jap..ZZzzzzzz....5 am nurse kejut kan..doctor ask her to break my waterbag as my opening very slow...6.30 am masuk labor room...hubby teman. Intense pain started at 8 am..by 8.30 am dah mcm singa dah...sume org kene marah..sian hubby, dia nak pegang tangan..i tak mo..siap tolak2...tapi ada satu insiden best...

Me : b...angkat bantal i ni letak atas kepala i...nanti kene darah susah
Nurse : ya rabbiiiii....dah nak beranak pun ada bantal busukkkkkk...siap bawak masuk labor room!!!
Me : heheheh....(sengih dalam sakit, panas ati pun ada...)
Nurse : (at 9.00am) check jap ye...ermmm...dah bukak abis ni...mana la doktor ni, tahan ye..jangan push lagi..
Me : (dalam ati...gile apa, aku dh rasa mcm 10 tahun tak poo poo ni..mcm dh kat ujung2)dr zana ada ke kak....dia ni duduk mana ni??!!?? tak sampai2!!
Nurse : dia dok melawati je....(nurse tu jawab sambil tgk kat tingkap, usha doktor dah sampai lom), tahan ye...hah tu doktor dah sampai, siap langgar lampu merah lagi!!!
Me : Lega....
Dr. Zana : how are you....ready?
Me : (what do you expect???!!! marah dalam ati...nak senyum pun dah tak lalu)
Dr. Zana : ok hubby ready dgn camera ye...time2 ni la baru cantik nak amik gambar..ok you can start push..1,2,3..ok you're doing good...stop jap amik gambar..smile sket
Me: uhuhuu...ok b..amik gambar (gambar x sesuei ditayangkan, sempat senyum!!)...
Dr. Zana : ok push again...1,2,3...push..
Nurse india : Lagi..lagi..lagi...lagi...lagi..lagi..(punya la laju dia cakap "lagi"...annoyed pun ada..nak tergelak pun ada mcm org jaga parking soh ko masuk parking je...even hubby pun nak tergelak tapi riso nye pasal...abaikan je la)
Dr. Zana : ok..ok...good..sket lagi..aaa minum air sket...hubby amik gambar (buleyyyyyy.....time ni dah tak senyum manis dah, senyum sambil gigit towel)..dah? 1,2,3..push..!!

Sakit yang tak tertanggung, hope Khaleesya will read this entry bila dia besar esok...betapa sakit seorang ibu untuk melahirkan..(see bantal busuk mommy, dah merata dunia travel bantal ni sampai la time nak beranak...)

Nurse india : Lagi..lagi..lagi...lagi...lagi..lagi..(ish dia ni aku PANGGGG kang!!! nurse melayu sowang tu takde la mcm dia...relex je)
Hubby : sket lagi b...sket lagi b....
Masuk 4th time to push...
Dr. Zana : ok...ok...baby is coming out....AZAN!!AZAN!!!

Then i saw hubby ***tercangak2 tengok siling....dah kenapa??!!. Then doctor bagi hubby potong pusat (haritu kemain takmo...dia ingat susah sgt kot nak potong..)

Alhamdulillah...it tooks me only 26mins to push...and here come Nur Khaleesya diiringi azan (ye kat sini kepala baby keluar je dia terus pasang tape azan). 3rd September 2010 @ 9.25am...

Raya 2010 - 1 week old Khaleesya

It was suppose to be my raya shopping but...

Last saturday dah plan dengan hubby nak pergi cari our baju raya...since we have done buying for Khaleesya months earlier..so first stop will be Ikea, singgah kejap sebab Mak Tok dia pesan soh beli container nak simpan soft toys Khaleesya, then we went to Curve..cari my preggy blouse.. at Metrojaya end up jumpa neck support for Khaleesya (daddy dia kesian tgk terpeletok dalam stroller bila tido), finally we give up nak cari baju raya...heading up to Bangsar Shopping Centre nak cari Carseat Khaleesya (again!!again!! Khaleesya!! jeless..hahaha)..yes we need forward facing carseat as first Khaleesya started to get bored sitting in her Maxi Cosi Baby Carrier (asyik tgk kusyen keta dengan pokok je..), 2nd kaki dah terjulur keluar..she's grown up memanjang...lebarnye idak (slim like mommy gak..SLIM kah??), 3rd the baby carrier need to be clean and keep for Baby K..

Dah banyak kali survey carseat ni, out of all tah napa my eyes always landed on the maxi cosi brand..after consulting personal banker, with certain amount i top up to get the carseat jugek..(siapa yg teringin nak carseat ni sebenarnya kan???). I always love maxi cosi as the design very sturdy and senang sparepart/warranty etc. Tak pa la..biar kalah membeli asal menang memakai..at least this will be use for next babies to come (OMG!!). Since Mothercare ada special discount on this..grab je la..alhamdulillah she loved it!!! First time dapat sit next to daddy with wide view...siap henjut badan bila dengar lagu Ice Ice Baby!! Heppi la kot!

So Mommy and Daddy went back with empty handed...and this raya shopping trip end up jadi Khaleesya Shopping Spree jugekkk!!! Next time must go raya shopping without Khaleesya...

Craving Part 1 : Black Pepper Chili Crab

Dah 2 -3 minggu teringin nak makan ketam, dah tu nak ketam bunga saiz besar..mana la nak cari tengah musim ketam saiz pak haji kemetot ni...dari Jusco, NSK, Giant...sume alahai...saiz buat penat kopek kulit je..so last saturday nekad early morning hangkut Khaleesya (for sure tak mandi) and my mom pergi pasar tani...ADA OKEH!!! tapi frozen la..tak kisah la..(SORRY LUPA NAK SNAP GAMBAR)..pilih punya pilih...sekilo RM 22.00 !! dapat la 5 ekor...satu paling besar (ni i punyeee)..lain saiz sedang..

Balik umah then teringat nak buka umah parents in law, mana cukup (tamak haloba sebab posa kan..konon 3 out of 5 ekor tu i punyee...)..ajak hubby drive pergi beli kat supermarket HERO (malas dah nak pi pasar tani), tak berani nak drive sgt dah sejak i pitam (stok terlentang atas jalan) kat Pasar Ramadhan 2-3 hari lepas :-p ...sampai HERO..ada la saiz so-so..beli je la..kutip sepit dengan lengan ketam yang dah terbarai (part paling i loikeee..)

Sampai umah je...bentang kertas surat khabar, mak buyung bersila atas lantai siang ketam (tak bley dah berdiri lama-lama)..siap basuh, taruk sket garam kunyit..GORENGG...petang sket buat kuah dia...mandi2..tido dgn khaleesya ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

Kol 4 petang dah stat masak..camni la lebih kurang rhope dia (gambar archive..sebab lupa jugak nak amik gambar bila dah masak...mana nak ingat dah cik jah oiii...ingat nak cekik je)

Resipi :

2-3 ulas bawang putih (cincang)
2 sudu besar serbuk lada hitam (ikut suka...nak rasa terbakar bibir kaw2 taruk lebih)
3 sudu cili giling (pun ikut suka kalo nak kuah lebih buat stok isap2 kulit taruk lebih)
2 sudu sos tiram
2 sudu kicap manis
(ikut tekak la..balance kan rasa pedas, manis dan masin, pedas sangat xrasa yg lain2 xsedap jugak kan?

Tumis bawang dengan lada hitam...naik bau, masuk cili...tambah sket air...tunggu sampai pecah minyak, then masuk la sos tiram dan kicap manis...dah tu masukkan le ketam yg dah digoreng awal2 tadi...violaaa...

Since i buat banyak..half simpan kat umah for my mom and dad (and stok nak sahur..) and half bawak pi rumah parents in law...terbakar bibir sume...tapi LICIN alhamdulillah..

Lepas buka, i sandar kat kerusi sambil usap perut...BABY...mommy dah puas ati... :-P

A pregnant pause...my wish list

INTRODUCING BABY K...

I'm on my 16th weeks of my 2nd pregnancy...not like my first one, this time around the wishlist banyak mommy yang punya...reason:

1) If baby girl : khaleesya's hand me down stuff..some of the dress she only wear it once or twice

2) If baby boy : Riaz's (my nephew) hand me down...save jugak

3) All basic necessity dah beli time Khaleesya, so just get a few new stuff for baby
4) Cloth diaper : way a lot..since both Khaleesya's and Baby K's can share (save lagi!!)
5) 2nd carseat for Khaleesya, as Baby K will use her current baby carseat later..plus she also dah boring seat rear facing (asyik tgk kusyen keta je dgn tgk pokok dan tiang lampu)..
6) Do i need 2nd stroller..??naahhhh...i don't need..as we have Ergo SSC to carry Khaleesya, perhaps i should get one ring slings or wraps for baby K. will talk about babywearing and its benefit on my next entry ok..

So what is mommy's wish list?

1) Medela Freestyle : previously i'm using both Medela Swing and Harmony, i wanted to letgo my Swing and upgrade to ever drooling FS..keeping my Harmony, berguna kalo nak cepat pam heheh..i've tried FS before, the suction power terbaekk..harga buleh tahan laa...from testimonil i read, their production increase using FS..wallahualam

2) Upright Deep Freezer : this time around i'm not gonna repeat my previous mistake..i start simpan EBM sebulan sebelum masuk kerja and end up my EBM stock always x cukup, i'm sorry Khaleesya..at that time mommy not well educate on this yet. So kali ni i will start pumping for EBM insyallah 4th day of confinement...so haruslah kalo maternity leave tu 3 bulan dan dikurniakan rezeki EBM yg banyak oleh Allah SWT, mau menjerit freezer mak nak sumbat EBM baby K esok..and kalau di izinkan, i want khaleesya back to my BM..

3) Ipad : uhuhu...syoknya...imagine bosan-bosan kat labor room bley bertani FV..ya rabbi mampukah dalam sakit2 tu, during labor pain khaleesya pun rasa mcm nak tercabut railing katil hospital..heheh...

Wish list tak banyak, tapi 3 bende ni harga dia...ermm...well Hubby dear, for our next anniversary you can choose to buy me either item no 1 or item no 3..no 2 takpe mommy leh beli sendiri sebab cheaper..(tounge out!).

Lets get it start again..

Its been months and months of silence...being a fulltime working mom (FTWM), a wife and a mother to a 10 months Khaleesya require me to being away from this blog. Of course i miss blogging especially when i blog walking..perhaps its time to start it again..but this time around the content may differ from my previous entry...yeah typical being a mother of course most of the entry will always about my lil bundle of joy..i will try to share my experience in cloth diapering (which i fond most...go green!!), breastfeeding (even tho i'm no longer breastfeed my Khaleesya, why not to share and exchange experience about it...anyway i'm expecting 2nd Baby by 2012 ..YES...2nd !!), baby wearing (i just started to get head over toe on this too!!! i wish i have more $$ to get nicer SSC, Wraps, Ringslings), on natural parenting (i'm in learning process..i really admire Farah of Sarakids http://www.sarakids.com/blog/farah on her practice in Natural Parenting, she is my mentor!!!) of course about whats going on in my daily life...insyaallah i will try to update when time permits..

Khaleesya will turns 1 next September..of course 1st Birthday always about the parents being excited not the child herself...yes i'm excited and i'm the party planner for it...EVERYTHING is made by Mommy!! Its not being cheapskate but i prefer when people says "hey u make this??!!" [BIG GRIN]. Since her bithday falls of 5th of hari raya...we have yet to decide when is the exact day to do it and venue...having it outside like McD (which i dont really keen) sounds typical, it would only applicable when she is old enuff to understand the meaning of birthday party. Maybe since it falls on Raya Mood...2 in 1 events would be nice a birthday party cum open house for family and some friends...since i have save a lot on her other birthday knicks knacks, we might spend it for caterers.. can't wait..

I'm blessed to see my darling grew up..she's smart (all mothers will says this right), lil miss chatterbox (inherit from me indeed..at 11 months she manage to say few like Allahuakhbar quite fluent, amin..), pretty much active baby..with her cheeky smile, she always make my day..

And for hubby...thank you for always be there..being a friend, husband and father you did great. I love you sayang..we might not that rich, we don't posses expensive cars/stuff...but having us together the most expensive thing in this universe.
